September Meeting Topics:
- New community service ideas
- Presentation of uncompleted projects - Please bring in one project from fair to share (perhaps from a project that not many are familiar with?) - Two card tables need replacing in the Legion Club house. Would our club be willing to pay to replace one of them for about $35? - Roll call and meeting the Honor Flight at the airport on October 24th. - Please see Ellie for a note containing our new club website address and our new email address. Please email the club a "Hi" email! It will be easier than having to type all of the email addresses! Open Houses
4-H Open Houses to encourage new enrollment will be held two different places. On September 15th at the Fredonia Catholic School, and September 16th at the Fairgrounds. If you are interested in helping out, please see the Harbinger.
National 4-H Week
National 4-H Week will be held in October. Projects were chosen at the county fair to be displayed during this week at local libraries to help promote 4-H. Emily B, Anna P, Michael B, and Jennifer P from our club had projects chosen! Way to go!
New Record Book FOrms
Please remember to print your new record book
forms available under forms at the county website.
Brat And Bakery Sale at Tri-Par in Random Lake
On Saturday, October 3, 2015 , the club will be having a brat and bakery sale to raise money for the club. This is a very busy event so please be sure to sign up for working! Adults are needed for grilling, getting supplies, and overseeing the cash exchange as well as 4-Hers for selling. Sign up is posted on the “Community Service” page of the website as an experiment. If we notice it not working, an additional sign up will be available at the meeting. Some families have already volunteered.
Art Discovery Day
The Tri-county
Art Discovery Day will be November 14th. This is a great opportunity to make new
friends while creating some new arts and crafts. See the Harbinger for signing up!
