National 4-H Youth Congress
National 4-H Congress is the flagship event of the 4-H program. For over 90 years, youth from the United States and its territories have participated in this youth leadership development conference. The Congress provides youth with a quality educational and cross-cultural experience that exceeds what any state independently provides. It is designed to address the needs and issues of youth while helping to develop capable, competent, and caring citizens.
Applicants must be in 10th-12th grade at the time of application; maximum age for attendance is 18 on January1, 2018. 1-2 delegates from Ozaukee County may be chosen.
Wisconsin 4-H & Youth Conference
This event for youth throughout the state is held on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison. Members have the opportunity to participate in educations seminars and group activities, gain new idea, strengthen leadership skills, and meet new friends from around the state. This conference is for youth in grades 7-10.
4-H Key Award
This award recognizes members in 11th grade and older who have shown consistent growth in their 4-H program, who have developed their leadership ability, and who have been helpful to other members in their club and community. Youth must have completed at least three years of 4-H club membership and one year of youth leadership.
Also, the Resume Workshop will be held on January 3, 2018 and the Interview Workshop will be held on February 5, 2018. Please encourage your nominees to attend
-February’s Meeting will be Monday, February 5th. Bring a decorated Valentine box with $5 worth a candy for a Valentine exchange!

- Project Summary – which is used year after year
- The Leadership and Achievement Summary – also used repeatedly
- The green Jay Road 4-H Club Activity Page for 2016-2017
- The 4-H Story summary of what you completed during the year
- Project Record Pages – Each project needs these pages and they vary from project to project so please visit the county site.
- Youth Leadership forms if appropriate.
